After its premiere in India, Royal Enfield’s next flagship bobber bike, the Shotgun 650, is now available in Europe. It arrived in India some weeks ago. The cost of purchasing the bike in England is 6699 pounds, or around Rs 7.05 lakh in Indian rupees. In affluent nations like France, Italy, Spain, and Germany, shotguns have also been seen. The Royal Enfield bike is produced at the company’s Tamil Nadu facility. From there, it is spreading to every country in the world. This is the fourth bike built on Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform. Earlier, the Interceptor, Continental GT and Super Meteor were built using the same platform. Looking at the overall design, the shotgun is actually a bobber style motorcycle built on the Super Meteor.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Design
The bobber-styled shotgun 650 bike features curved fenders, short and wide fuel tanks, wide handlebars and center food pegs. Its rider seat is mounted in a zero floating position to match the design. However, Royal Enfield offers removable rear seat and luggage rack as additional accessories. Ground clearance is only 140 mm. As a result, it is quite difficult to drive Shotgun 650 on high and low roads.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Specifications
The European model’s features have been fully retained in the Indian version of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The vitality of this Royal Enfield motorcycle comes from its 648 cc parallel twin engine. At its peak, the engine can generate 46.4 horsepower and 52.3 Nm of torque. The transmission system contains six gears. USD forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the back handle suspension chores. Dual channel ABS and disc brakes on both wheels make up the braking system. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is available in single and dual tone color variants for purchase in Europe.
