The Hero Xoom 160 is rumored to be launching soon to shake up the Indian two-wheeler market. Many say it is coming to the Indian market this month i.e. March. However, no confirmation has been received from Hero MotoCorp in this regard. It is the company’s first maxi scooter. Let’s know the details of the model before the launch.

In the coming weeks, the Hero Xoom 160 is probably going to be released in the Indian market. It is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom) after introduction. The Aprilia SXR 160, Yamaha Aerox 155, and the soon-to-be Yamaha Nmax 155 are its rivals.

Hero now has adventurous style thanks to the Xoom 160. A long wind screen is placed in front of the front apron. Additionally, there are two LED headlights up front. Under the headlights, small bikes resembling adventure bikes may be seen. The Xoom 160 has a rather aggressive appearance for a maxi scooter. Its spine is centered. Both sides’ designs also feature maxim style.

Hero is anticipated to release the Xoom 160 as its flagship model. A digital instrument cluster featuring turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity is planned. In addition, there is an oil light, LED headlights, a gasoline tank beneath the central spine, and keyless ignition.

The Xoom 160 is equipped with twin shock rear absorbers and a telescope front fork, riding on an underbone chassis. Block pattern tires will be mounted on 14-inch wheels. There are ABS-equipped front disc and rear drum brakes for stopping. The scooter weighs 141 kilograms at the curb.
Hero Xoom 160: Engine
Hero has created a brand-new liquid-cooled motor. It is a single-cylinder, 156-cc engine. It has a maximum power of 14 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It has a CVT transmission attached. It is not as powerful as Yamaha Aerox 155.
