The Honor MagicPad 2 and the Honor Pad 9 Pro, the company’s less expensive tablet, were introduced on Friday. Additionally, 16GB+1TB and 16GB+512GB versions are available to customers; these cost CNY 3699 (about Rs. 42,600) and CNY 4199 (about Rs. 48,400), respectively. 

In the meanwhile, the Honor Pad 9 Pro with 8GB+256GB RAM and storage combination costs CNY 2299 (about Rs. 26,500), while a 12GB RAM edition with the same amount of storage is available for CNY 2499 (about Rs. 28,800). The tablet is available for purchase in the company’s “soft version” (translated from Chinese) for an extra CNY 200, or around Rs. 2,300, per storage choice.

The Honor Pad 9 Pro is offered in Sky Blue and Starry Gray colorways in China, while the Honor MagicPad 2 is offered in Moon Shadow White, Sky Blue, and Starry Sky Black (translated from Chinese).

MagicOS 8, which is based on Android 14, powers both the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro. The Pad 9 Pro has a 12.1-inch 1,600×2,560-pixel TFT LCD screen, while the MagicPad 2 has a 12.3-inch 1,920×3,000-pixel OLED display. Both panels have a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.

Both tablets have a 13-megapixel main rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus for taking pictures and movies. The Pad 9 Pro has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera while the MagicPad 2 sports a 9-megapixel secondary camera. Both cameras include an f/2.2 aperture and a fixed-focus lens. 

Honor claims that Wi-Fi 6 connection is supported by both tablets, and that Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth 5.2 devices are supported by the MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro, respectively. Their 10,050mAh battery may be charged at 35W (MagicPad 2) or 66W (Pad 9 Pro) depending on the device. The Pad 9 Pro weighs 589g and measures 277×178.95×6.64mm, while the Honor MagicPad weighs 555g and measures 274.5×180.5×5.8mm.
